Deck2Wall Spacers are easy to install, simply fasten the spacerto the ledger with properly sized screws or nails through theattachment holes prior to bolting the ledger to the structure. Thelarge diameter of the Deck2Wall Spacers will provide greaterbearing surface than standard washers. Deck2Wall Spacers allowmachine bolts or lag screws to be positioned on a ledger asspecified by an engineer or architect. Other methods may not offerthis flexibility.

Deck2Wall Spacers are designed to easily and efficiently provideairspace between buildings and deck ledgers, stair stringers, shadestructures, railing posts, fence posts, etc. Proper airspace andsound construction details should prevent rot from occurring atthese connections. Multiple washers are often specified byarchitects and engineers to achieve this airspace, and the resultis usually a slow and tedious installation.
